University of Ottawa Resources

If you need accommodation for exams, tests, assignments, or class participation, you will need to register with Access. They also offer counselling, help students with the various technological aides that the university has, and work with various people on campus to make the university more accessible. You need to re-register every year with Access.

Accessibility Fund

The SFUO has funds that go towards providing accommodations for students with disabilities. This fund can pay for adaptive measures to make SFUO events more accessible to students, and can be used for a variety of other purposes. The accessibility Fund Request Form can be found here (click the here and it will open in a pdf) and or picked up at the SFUO office, UCU07. For more information or to submit a form, email, or drop it off at the SFUO Office, UCU 07.

Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD)

The Centre for Students with Disabilities (CSD) is an education and advocacy centre, as well as a drop-in space. CSD offers events, services and campaigns throughout the year focused on disability and accessibility. Our space and services are open to all identities and abilities who wish to work together in challenging ableism on campus and in our community. CSD is located on the second floor of the University Center/Jock-Turcot in the Terminus (just across from the Tim Hortons).
